Job description

Job Overview:

PKF Thailand is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to be based on the Eastern Seaboard, with the flexibility to work from Chonburi, Rayong, Pattaya, or remotely, depending on client needs. The role will initially involve leading audit engagements under the supervision of a Bangkok-based partner, with a clear pathway for the incumbent to progress into an Audit Director role. The position will also include a focus on marketing PKF’s services across the Eastern Seaboard, as well as assisting with the delivery of non-audit services such as accounting, tax compliance, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit Engagements:

  • Manage and lead audit engagements for clients located along the Eastern Seaboard, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient completion of audit processes.
  • Work closely with the Bangkok-based partner to coordinate and deliver audit services, with the goal of eventually handling client audits independently.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations in conducting audits.
  • Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

2. Client Relationships:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the Eastern Seaboard region, acting as the primary point of contact for all audit-related matters.
  • Actively participate in business development and networking activities to market PKF’s services across the region.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding PKF’s services with existing clients and introducing potential clients to PKF’s full range of services.

3. Flexibility in Work Location:

  • Work from where most appropriate, whether that is at client premises, from home, or from one of PKF’s offices in Chonburi, Pattaya, or Bangkok.
  • Ensure efficient time management and flexibility to meet the demands of clients and partners.

4. Progression to Audit Director:

  • As the incumbent gains experience, there is a clear pathway to progress into an Audit Director role, managing client portfolios independently with support from the Bangkok office.
  • Take on greater responsibility for decision-making and client relationship management as part of this career development path.

5. Non-Audit Services Support:

  • Assist in the delivery of non-audit services, including but not limited to:
      • Accounting services (e.g., outsourced bookkeeping, financial reporting).
      • Tax compliance services.
      • Data analytics and technology-driven solutions.
      • Corporate compliance and other related business advisory services.
  • Collaborate with the firm’s experts in these areas to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

6. Marketing & Business Development:

  • Help to market PKF’s services across the Eastern Seaboard through active participation in networking events, client meetings, and other marketing activities.
  • Support the firm’s business development initiatives by identifying leads and assisting in proposal development.
