The right data can be hijacked for ransom, can be used to target the location of family members, and can be manipulated to alter medical implant devices.

A third-party email provider has all emails destroyed going back to 2001, $3.25bn is being leveraged by cyber criminals on Social Media, cyber criminals are offering lucrative salaries to hackers, a leading payroll software provider suffered a ransomware attack, and a leading state-player takes only 19 mins to do a sideways attack once a network is infiltrated.
The Thai Revenue Department has recently issued new tax regulations to encourage SME corporate entities to file tax returns appropriately by providing exceptions to laws relating to tax penalties and surcharges, including criminal liability.

We have hacked emails, breached websites, phishing schemes, privacy incursion, children’s credentials for sale on the Dark Web, weak passwords and a lack of cyber defenses. Welcome to 2019.
In 2018, Chinese visitors to Thailand reached 10m. In China its citizens entered and exited the country 560 million person-times, up 12% YoY, and maintained growth for 15 consecutive years. In addition there were 95.328 million foreigners departing from or entering China, up 11.6% YoY.
On 15th January, the OECD released a report and database, Corporate Tax Statistics, providing internationally comparable statistics and analysis from around 100 countries worldwide. Interestingly it shows in 2016, corporate tax revenues accounted for 13.3% of total tax revenues increasing from 12% in 2000, despite actual rates falling across the world.
